Content creation, Notch FXs & Server Programming/Operation
The most daunting challenge of this tour was crafting content and Notch FXs for around 20 songs in just 15 days. Initially, I programmed the show in Resolume and developed a standalone application to run the Notch FXs through a capture card. After a few weeks, I built my own Pixera Server and completely reprogrammed the show, significantly reducing the delay between the camera and the LED screens.
I began by using loops provided by the artist from some of his music videos, reimagining and transforming them within Notch to create an entirely new visual experience. Additionally, I created some of the content from scratch, taking on a bit of the art direction myself.
One of my favorite techniques is synchronizing visuals with the beat of the songs. This creates a dynamic and immersive effect for the audience, allowing the screens to function like lighting fixtures, enhancing certain parts of the songs with vibrant colors and textures.
