Oques Grasses - 2023/2024

At the end of 2022, the NOXFERA team reached out to me with an exciting opportunity: designing the 10th anniversary concert for Oques Grasses at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

With just over a month to bring their vision to life, we dove into planning with the band. The members of Oques Grasses were incredibly dedicated, passionately sharing their ideas for the visuals of each song.

Our goal was to create a stage that felt both deep and theatrical. We used a large triangular screen as the focal point, flanked by smaller LED screens between the musicians. These screens were used to highlight standout moments and add dynamic elements to the performance. Throughout the show, the screens served multiple purposes: as backlights, backdrops, cycloramas, and for traditional visual effects.

To achieve this, I utilized the Disguise gx 2c server for playback and Notch Fxs. I created and mixed 3D materials, 2D images, and visual effects using Notch. Cinema 4D was used for geometry adjustments, and After Effects for video editing, with all final outputs processed through Notch.

This concert marked a significant evolution for Oques Grasses, as it was their first performance with visual accompaniment. The audience and media were blown away by the final product, generating a buzz on social media and international news outlets.
